By booking, purchasing, attending, or participating in any class, private session, workshop, event, training, or service offered by Fit Fierce Babe, LLC d/b/a The Pilates Studio (“The Pilates Studio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you acknowledge and agree to the following terms.

Assumption of Risk

I understand that participation in Pilates, reformer Pilates, mat Pilates, heated classes, strength-based movement, fitness classes, workshops, private sessions, and related activities involves inherent risks.

These risks may include, but are not limited to:

  • Muscle soreness

  • Strains or sprains

  • Dizziness or lightheadedness

  • Falls or loss of balance

  • Overexertion

  • Dehydration or heat-related discomfort

  • Injury related to equipment use

  • Aggravation of a previous injury or medical condition

  • Serious injury in rare cases

I voluntarily choose to participate and understand that I am responsible for listening to my body, working within my personal limits, and stopping any activity that causes pain, discomfort, dizziness, or concern.

Health & Medical Responsibility

I confirm that I am physically able to participate in fitness and movement-based activities.

I understand that The Pilates Studio does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. I am responsible for consulting with a physician or qualified healthcare provider before participating if I have any medical condition, injury, pregnancy, postpartum concerns, physical limitation, or other health-related concern.

I agree to notify the instructor before class of any injuries, limitations, pregnancy, medical conditions, or concerns that may affect my participation.

Heated Class Acknowledgment

I understand that some classes may take place in a heated environment. Heated classes may increase the risk of dehydration, dizziness, overheating, or other heat-related symptoms.

I agree to hydrate appropriately, take breaks as needed, and leave the heated environment if I feel unwell.

Equipment Use

I understand that classes may involve the use of Pilates reformers, props, weights, resistance equipment, mats, platforms, or other studio equipment.

I agree to use all equipment only as instructed by The Pilates Studio staff and instructors. I understand that improper use of equipment may result in injury.

Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I voluntarily release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Fit Fierce Babe, LLC d/b/a The Pilates Studio, its owners, instructors, employees, contractors, representatives, agents, affiliates, successors, and assigns from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to my participation in any class, session, workshop, event, training, or service.

This includes, but is not limited to, claims related to personal injury, illness, property damage, or loss, whether occurring before, during, or after participation.

Personal Belongings

I understand that The Pilates Studio is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings. I am responsible for securing my own items while attending class or visiting the studio.

Photography & Media

I understand that The Pilates Studio may occasionally take photos or videos in the studio for marketing, social media, website, or promotional purposes.

If I do not wish to be photographed or recorded, I understand that I am responsible for notifying studio staff in writing before class or participation.

Minors

Participants under the age of 18 must have consent from a parent or legal guardian before attending classes, sessions, workshops, or events.

By allowing a minor to participate, the parent or legal guardian agrees to this waiver on behalf of the minor.

Agreement to Follow Studio Policies

I agree to follow all studio policies, instructor guidance, safety instructions, cancellation policies, booking policies, and posted rules.

I understand that The Pilates Studio reserves the right to refuse service or participation to anyone who does not follow studio policies, creates an unsafe environment, or behaves in a way that disrupts the class or community.

Acknowledgment

By booking, purchasing, attending, or participating in any offering at The Pilates Studio, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to this Liability Waiver.

I understand that I am giving up certain legal rights by agreeing to this waiver.
